This past week we got to celebrate another year lived for my biggest-little-man! Six already? Doesn’t seem possible. I’m in denial actually. I really REALLY wish the years would stop racing by! I so love the little boy he is, but also miss the years of his cute squishy-ness. 🙂
He is such a sweet, affectionate boy – something that hasn’t altered or changed at ALL since he was born. He thrives on hugs & kisses and is never stingy with them. He is doing really well with homeschool (mastering Kindergarten is serious business) and is very proud that he has learned to read and do math problems. 🙂 He just recently figured out how to ride his bike without training wheels. First try too! For a cautious kid–like this guy–that’s a big deal!~ I think he has mentioned it every day since too. 🙂 He loves all things outdoors, especially throwing the ball with Dad, riding his bike & scooter, and playing all kinds of games with his siblings and all the neighbor kids in our little corner of the world. Of course, he is also a master at Xbox now and will play whenever we let him have the chance!
I love watching how he has grown in his ability to express himself and how he interacts. He is very proud of what a big boy he is…and so are we! Happy Birthday Mr. Man!
We finally got to do our birthday ‘photo shoot’ a couple of days after his celebration. The weather finally gave us a break and wasn’t raining, BUT it was so COLD (hence the hands in the pockets)! Isn’t it supposed to be SPRING here? Anyway, he was a little trooper though and cooperated long enough to get a few shots of him before he demanded to be warmed up. Here are some of our fun pics! Oh, and the “thumbs up” is all him!~
