Our move to St. Augustine has been an amazing one. God has orchestrated so many details and we are so excited about what lies ahead. This community/area is fantastic. There is SO much to love about this place that my intermittent blog posts don’t really do it justice! There are still lots of places to be explored in this area, but we are conquering what we can, when we can! The kids certainly love this place as much as Billy and I do and that makes my heart happy. ♥︎

In early June we decided we needed to check out the ‘pirate ship’ that was in port at the marina (the ship properly known as El Galeon). It’s a fascinating replica of a 500 year old Spanish vessel that would have sailed these waters a really long time ago~! The kids had a blast walking through the ship and feeling like they were in one of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. 🙂 The ship left port shortly after we were there (for the summer). It looks like it will be returning in September for the 450th year celebration of St. Augustine. The history in this place is so fascinating! It looks like the King and Queen of Spain will also be joining us here this fall for the celebration. The kids are really excited about having royalty here!
I thought I would share some of our adventure through photos (my fav thing). Enjoy!
